This is an increase from the initial quota in 2015 at 178.500 metric tons. However, the 2015-qouta was increased to 223.000 tons in the summer, due to new stock estimates from the scientists.

As for the cod quota, the haddock qouta is set by the Russian-Norwegian Fisheries Commision later this year.
