The intention was to exchange recipes of and experiences with cod. The british specialist showed the Norwegians how to make supreme fish&chips from Norwegian frozen at sea fillets. The five Norwegian chefs each brought their own cod recipe, and during a session at the culinary training academy Klippfiskakademiet in Ålesund fish and chips and five other cod dishes were prepared and served to more than sixty guests in the evening. The happening was part of the visit arranged by the Norwegian Seafood Council in cooperation with the fleet and industry for the finalists.
